About Me

Born in the San Francisco “Bay Area”, California, I’ve been shooting since age 17 when I was given a 35mm camera and a few rolls of Kodak 200. Since then, photography has grown to be my creative outlet.

When I started scuba diving in 2012, I wasn’t really interested in taking my photography hobby underwater. However, becoming a dive professional reignited my passion to capture the alien underwater world.

While much of society’s focus is on protecting land animals and their environment, I hope to share the underwater beauty to build awareness and ensure enduring ocean health.

The pandemic has put a damper on most travel, but I hope to be underwater working on restoration and preservation projects soon.
